First Sip Matcha Bar is a Toronto-based specialty matcha bar bringing high-quality Japanese matcha and creative drinks to markets, events, and celebrations across the GTA.
I'm Jennifer, the founder of First Sip. What started as a small passion project has grown in ways I honestly never imagined. I started First Sip because of my love for matcha, and over the past few years, it has become so much more than just selling drinks.
My background is in biomedical computing (AI and medical imaging). On the weekends, instead of working in a lab, you'll find me setting up our booth, whisking matcha, and serving drinks to the Toronto community.
From the Junction and Leslieville farmers' markets to private events and productions across the city, I'm grateful to meet so many amazing people and build something of my own.

Where possible, our syrups are natural and locally sourced ingredients. Every batch is made in-house without artificial flavors, preservatives, or additives.
